Senior Business Analyst

Remote - Contracted

Location: Harrisburg, PA

Contract Length: 10 months + possible extension
W2 - US Citizen | Permanent Resident

The Senior Business Analyst will support the full project lifecycle by gathering and validating requirements, conducting testing, and coordinating implementation activities to support system modernization initiatives. This role serves as a liaison among stakeholders, development teams, and vendors while ensuring all documentation, testing, and accessibility standards are thoroughly executed and maintained.

Required Skills:

  • 5 years of Business Analysis experience

  • Capable of performing business analysis responsibilities independently without supervision

  • Able to instruct and mentor others in business analysis practices

  • Demonstrated mastery of industry standards and best practices with the ability to suggest and implement improvements

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience and/or familiarity with Agile development methodologies

  • Experience and/or familiarity with AWS and/or Ruby on Rails


Duties:

  • Evaluate current efforts and identify areas for improvement

  • Elicit, prioritize, validate, and document business and technical requirements

  • Document business process changes to support system enhancements

  • Plan, execute, and evaluate system and user acceptance testing (UAT)

  • Create and maintain test scripts, test data, and testing documentation

  • Coordinate and test for digital accessibility compliance

  • Track, triage, and report system defects and testing outcomes

  • Provide implementation support including Go-Live activities and schedule adjustments

  • Compile documentation such as Implementation Outcome Reports and Change Management Reports

  • Facilitate meetings, prepare agendas, and produce meeting minutes

  • Coordinate approvals for documentation and manage version control

  • Serve as a liaison between stakeholders, vendors, and development teams

  • Maintain documentation through established change management procedures

  • Mentor team members and contribute to process improvements in business analysis practices
