Position Overview:
This role is responsible for establishing and leading a Power BI capability, serving as the primary resource for designing and delivering data visualization solutions that support business decision-making. The position requires a senior-level developer who can work independently to translate business needs into scalable reporting solutions while also guiding best practices and mentoring team members.

Duties:
  • Design, document, develop, test, implement, and support Power BI solutions
  • Deliver high-quality dashboards and reports, including leading testing validation and implementation activities
  • Advise leadership on Power BI initiatives, project milestones, and resolution of technical challenges
  • Collaborate closely with business units to understand processes and gather reporting requirements
  • Translate business needs into effective data models, analytics, and visualization solutions
  • Provide coaching and guidance to staff on Power BI best practices, standards, and efficient development approaches
  • Act as a subject matter expert and internal resource for Power BI tools and capabilities
  • Identify and recommend improvements to Power BI development processes and methodologies
  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting for end users
  • Independently manage development efforts, demonstrating strong decision-making and initiative

Required Skills:
  • 5+ years of experience developing Power BI solutions
  • 5+ years of strong proficiency in DAX, Power Query, and data modeling
  • 5+ years of experience working with SQL and relational databases
  • Proven ability to lead, plan, develop, and implement Power BI projects
  • Ability to provide technical support to end users
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to interact professionally and effectively with stakeholders at all levels
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently with strong decision-making skills
