Position Overview:
The SharePoint Developer will lead the digitization and automation of paper-based records, supporting the client's transition to a streamlined, digital information management system. This role involves creating and managing SharePoint sites, implementing records management solutions, and ensuring compliance with security protocols, UI/UX best practices, and retention policies. Candidates must be prepared for occasional onsite meetings and possess expertise in SharePoint development, Power Platform technologies, and user-focused design.

Position Overview:
The SharePoint Developer will lead the digitization and automation of paper-based records, supporting the client's transition to a streamlined, digital information management system. This role involves creating and managing SharePoint sites, implementing records management solutions, and ensuring compliance with security protocols, UI/UX best practices, and retention policies. Candidates must be prepared for occasional onsite meetings and possess expertise in SharePoint development, Power Platform technologies, and user-focused design.
Duties:
- Advise customers on SharePoint features and how they apply to their unique needs
- Understand and apply records management principles/rules based on individual customer requirements
- Collaborate with stakeholders to create consistent user-friendly design and implementation approach
- Apply user UI/UX best practices to ensure compliance, adherence to client's design standards and provide a seamless user experience
- Understand and troubleshoot security issues, customer questions and other inquiries as needed
- Understand and apply approved standards and processes
- Develop a SharePoint Records Center using retention labels to manage required retention policies, create and manage file plans and build simple workflows and processes
- Develop solutions that comply with existing security protocols and guidelines
- Identify and escalate architecturally significant items and thereby affect development design/approach/solution
- Engage in consistent and ongoing interactions with customer subject matter experts
- Facilitate training and education opportunities
- 5 years of experience as a SharePoint Developer/Architect
- 4 years of UI and UX experience
- 4 years of experience developing custom SharePoint solutions
- 3 years of knowledge of Microsoft Power Platform licensing, the API limits, and throttling limitations within Power Platform
- 5 years of experience creating complex workflows and business processes using Power Automate
- 5 years of experience with SharePoint site creation, UI/UX design, document library configuration, view creation, and metadata management
- 4 years of experience developing in 4 or more of the Power Platform technologies
- 2 years of in-depth understanding of SharePoint in a records management, information governance or compliance role ideally with strong Records Management knowhow
- 2 years of in-depth understanding of Microsoft Azure, Azure Active Directory, and O365 platforms
- PL-100: Power Platform App Maker Associate certification
- Exam SC-900: Microsoft Security, Compliance, and Identity Fundamentals certification
- Exam MS-500: Microsoft 365 Security Administration certification
- 2 years of experience with Power Platform Fundamentals
