Position Overview:
Highly skilled Systems Analyst with deep expertise in healthcare claims processing and enterprise-scale systems, responsible for analyzing, enhancing, and ensuring the stability of complex MMIS/MES environments. This role bridges technical and business functions, leading testing, system improvements, and cross-functional coordination to drive accuracy, compliance, and operational efficiency.

Duties:
  • Conduct impact analysis for system changes, enhancements, and new module implementations
  • Lead advanced analysis across Member, Claims, and Finance modules to define solution approaches
  • Evaluate workflows, identify system gaps, and recommend strategic enhancements
  • Oversee system development activities including design reviews, integration testing, and production validation
  • Act as a senior technical liaison with vendors and cross-functional teams to support stable operations
  • Support system upgrades, interface enhancements, configuration changes, and security improvements
  • Coordinate cross-module alignment to prevent downstream system conflicts
  • Provide support for audit and compliance activities, including financial reconciliation processes
  • Perform root cause analysis for complex production issues and drive long-term corrective actions
  • Develop and execute comprehensive test strategies including SIT, UAT, and end-to-end testing
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning and backlog refinement; design and execute test cases
  • Test COTS applications and support data conversion and integration efforts
  • Create business test scenarios, test cases, and test data; assist with execution activities
  • Support system releases, enhancements, and production defect resolution
  • Lead defect triage calls and manage defect tracking through resolution
  • Communicate testing progress, results, and metrics to stakeholders; maintain documentation
  • Monitor schedules, track execution progress, and escalate risks and issues as needed
  • Collaborate with technical teams, business users, and cross-functional stakeholders with minimal supervision

Required Skills:
  • 12 years of experience coordinating System Integration Testing (SIT), User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and End-to-End testing activities across complex environments
  • 11 years of strong debugging and problem-solving experience, with the ability to resolve complex system issues
  • 10 years of proven Agile testing experience within iterative development environments
  • 10 years of experience developing manual test scenarios aligned to business requirements
  • 10 years of experience creating manual test cases and preparing test data for execution
  • 10 years of experience executing test cases and managing defect tracking processes
  • 10 years of experience producing metrics reporting and comprehensive test summary documentation
  • 10 years of experience managing defect triage calls across multiple vendors and systems
  • 10 years of excellent organizational and communication skills, with the ability to meet deadlines professionally and maintain a strong customer focus
  • 5 years of experience working with large-scale claims processing systems (MMIS or similar platforms)
  • 5 years of experience using Azure DevOps or similar test management tools for planning, tracking, and execution

Preferred Skills:
  • 7 years of experience with Mainframe testing environments
