Position Overview:
The Software Standards and Service Request Process Coordinator supports leadership in overseeing software standards, governance, and service request operations across the organization. This role manages the full software lifecycle, ensuring compliance, efficient request fulfillment, and alignment between business needs and approved technology solutions.

Duties:
  • Manage the full lifecycle of software assets, from request intake through procurement, provisioning, and ongoing tracking
  • Review business requirements, conduct research, and recommend standard software solutions aligned with organizational needs
  • Facilitate software compliance reviews prior to procurement to ensure adherence to enterprise standards
  • Reconcile software purchases post-procurement to ensure accuracy, traceability, and fulfillment of approved requests
  • Track, manage, and provision software licenses across the organization
  • Support end-to-end management of software service requests, ensuring timely and accurate processing
  • Maintain a comprehensive software portfolio integrated with service catalog and asset management systems
  • Coordinate with fulfillment teams to ensure smooth handoffs throughout the service request lifecycle
  • Facilitate software review and approval processes at both organizational and enterprise levels
  • Support the management and enforcement of software standards and governance practices
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand needs and provide effective solutions
  • Document current and future state business capabilities and processes
  • Identify opportunities to streamline workflows and improve user satisfaction

Required Skills:
  • 1+ years of experience in IT service delivery and/or process management
  • 2+ years of experience in strategic, service, or software portfolio management
  • 3+ years of experience in business and statistical analysis, including metrics management
  • 3+ years of experience providing cross-functional support and engagement
  • 3+ years of strong interpersonal skills, including compassion for others and familiarity with human-centered design principles
  • 1+ years demonstrating adaptability, including an aptitude for learning diverse skill sets and applying an agile mindset

Preferred Skills:
  • 2+ years of experience in performance management
  • 1+ years of experience applying big-picture thinking and holistic approaches to change evaluation, process design, and coordination
  • 3+ years of experience effectively engaging with diverse stakeholders and tailoring communication to various audiences
