Position Overview:
This role provides senior-level IT systems support, specializing in software packaging, deployment, and CADD application management, with extensive experience in Windows environments, Active Directory, and scripting. The position also oversees ProjectWise administration, technical troubleshooting, and collaboration across teams to ensure reliable, efficient, and high-quality IT operations.

Duties:
  • Support Windows Desktop OS, Windows Server, Active Directory, scripting, and MS Office applications with at least 15 years of experience.

  • Create and maintain software installation packages for SCCM, with a focus on Bentley products, using approved tools and processes.

    • Download and prepare vendor software for packaging.

    • Perform test installations of out-of-box (OOB) software.

    • Determine appropriate installation methods (e.g., batch or PowerShell scripting).

    • Develop, test, and validate installation scripts and packages.

    • Deliver finalized packages to SCCM for Software Center testing.

  • Coordinate testing of software packages with technical leads, business users, and project managers.

  • Work closely with testers to refine and improve the end-user experience, addressing questions or issues during testing.

  • Troubleshoot and resolve cross-application technical issues, supporting end-user installations and deployments.

  • Manage and update Active Directory groups relevant to CADD support and recommend hardware purchases as needed.

  • Provide clear, accurate, and timely status updates while demonstrating strong written and verbal communication skills.

  • Collaborate effectively within a team and share application-specific knowledge across teams.

  • Complete tasks within established time estimates and follow organizational quality standards and procedures.

  • Develop, refine, and document expert practices, ensuring documentation is accurate, complete, and up to date.

  • Identify, track, and resolve issues, risks, and action items while staying informed about industry trends and emerging tools.

  • Develop and support plotting solutions across CADD applications.

  • Update and distribute workspace resources for OpenRoads Designer, OpenBridge Designer, and MicroStation within ProjectWise and servers.

  • Package workspace resources for public-facing distribution and guide business partners on implementation.

  • Maintain and administer ProjectWise on-premises server infrastructure, including multiple environments and SQL databases.

  • Manage project creation, access control, and implement new ProjectWise features (e.g., workflows, states).

  • Test and deploy ProjectWise product upgrades and collaborate with teams to enable external business partner access.

Required Skills:
  • 15 years of experience supporting Windows Desktop OS.

  • 15 years of experience administering Windows Server.

  • 15 years of experience managing and maintaining Active Directory.

  • 15 years of experience in scripting.

  • 15 years of experience using MS Office.

  • 10 years of experience deploying software using SCCM.

  • 10 years of experience working with Bentley products.

  • 5 years of experience with OpenRoads Designer, OpenBridge Designer, and MicroStation within ProjectWise.
