Position Overview:

This role provides strategic technical leadership, oversees product enhancements and integrations, supports high-impact initiatives, and collaborates with cross-functional teams to deliver secure, high-quality solutions aligned with business and regulatory requirements.
Duties:
- Lead enterprise-wide system implementation efforts and provide technical leadership for complex product and service deployments.
- Serve as the Technical Subject Matter Expert (SME) for enterprise applications and specialized technical environments.
- Mentor team members by sharing industry best practices, technical standards, and implementation strategies.
- Provide direct technical expertise for highly secure and mission-critical executive applications.
- Support the design, integration, and enhancement of industry-specific applications with enterprise systems.
- Collaborate with architects, developers, database administrators, vendors, and business stakeholders to support product functionality and enhancements.
- Coordinate product design reviews to ensure compliance with functional, technical, and quality standards.
- Analyze technical and functional impacts of product planning decisions, production fixes, and system enhancements.
- Develop work plans, schedules, budgets, and resource estimates for technical initiatives and enhancements.
- Lead product testing, validation efforts, and implementation trials to ensure successful deployments.
- Identify, track, and resolve project risks, defects, issues, and action items affecting application teams and deliverables.
- Develop contingency plans and provide recommendations for technical and functional improvements.
- Coordinate updates to logical and physical data models in partnership with database administration teams.
- Ensure technical architecture supports all required product enhancements and integrations.
- Provide product support, troubleshoot technical issues, and accurately assess defect severity levels.
- Create and maintain technical documentation, training materials, and implementation references.
- Review and validate system testing approaches, conditions, and detailed test scenarios.
- Deliver status updates and communicate technical information effectively to executive leadership, business users, and technical teams.
- Contribute as a hands-on technical expert and participate directly in product design and development activities.
- Ensure all work adheres to established quality assurance and project standards.
Required Skills:
- 12+ years of experience supporting enterprise-level technical products, systems, or application environments.
- 12+ years of experience serving in technical leadership, systems implementation, or product specialist roles.
- Strong expertise in enterprise application support, system integrations, and technical solution delivery.
- Experience leading large-scale implementation efforts involving complex oversight and compliance requirements.
- Demonstrated experience functioning as a Technical SME for enterprise-wide systems or specialized platforms.
- Strong background in product lifecycle management, system enhancements, and production support.
- Experience coordinating with architects, developers, database administrators, vendors, and business stakeholders.
- Proven ability to lead testing efforts, perform impact analyses, and support system quality assurance activities.
- Experience developing technical documentation, training materials, and support procedures.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to interact with executive leadership and technical teams.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, schedules, risks, and technical deliverables in a team-oriented environment.
- Experience reviewing and validating technical architecture, data models, and system integration requirements.
- Strong understanding of quality standards, defect management, and change management processes.
- Experience supporting highly secure, mission-critical, or executive-level applications.
- Experience delivering support for industry-specific applications integrated with enterprise systems.
- Prior experience mentoring technical teams and leading knowledge-sharing initiatives.
- Experience developing functional usability standards and recommending process improvements.
- Background supporting complex environments with federal or enterprise-level governance and oversight requirements.
