SAP S/4HANA BRIM Functional Lead

Hybrid Schedule: Onsite 1 week per month
Contract Length: 5 months + extensions
Position Overview:
This role is responsible for architecting, designing, configuring, and implementing SAP BRIM solutions within SAP S/4HANA to support high-volume, consumption-based billing and revenue management processes. The position involves leading workshops, integrating SAP BRIM with other enterprise systems, ensuring regulatory compliance, and providing guidance, training, and documentation for both technical teams and business users.
Duties:
Architect, design, implement, and test SAP BRIM modules including Subscription Order Management, Convergent Invoicing, Sales and Distribution, Materials Management, and Convergent Charging.
Lead workshops with business stakeholders to gather requirements and ensure approval of processes, features, and user stories.
Provide advisory and implementation services for end-to-end business processes related to billing, revenue management, and subscription management.
Ensure seamless integration of SAP BRIM with other systems such as Microsoft Dynamics CRM, SAP ERP, and payment gateways.
Develop data models and integrations to minimize replication and ensure data integrity.
Ensure all systems are PCI and SOC1/SOC2 compliant.
Configure and customize SAP BRIM modules to meet specific business requirements.
Collaborate with data teams to perform high-volume data migrations with minimal downtime and accurate target mappings.
Support smooth customer dispute processes for migrated transactions.
Recommend FIORI usage to enhance usability for end users, including accountants and business staff.
Document process designs, configurations, technological solutions, and best practices per SAP standards.
Maintain features, user stories, configuration, and development tasks in Microsoft DevOps (ADO).
Write functional specifications and review technical specifications with technical teams.
Develop and execute functional test cases; review SIT and UAT scripts and results.
Conduct troubleshooting, defect resolution, and ensure completeness of test scenarios.
Develop and deliver training for junior staff, end-users, and support teams on SAP BRIM and S/4HANA functionalities.
Work with trainers to create end-user training materials.
Maintain productive relationships with technology staff, business owners, project sponsors, vendors, and key clients.
Lead and participate in project team activities for enterprise system initiatives.
Independently accomplish tasks and adhere to established standards, policies, and procedures.
Utilize software and technology tools to perform job duties and complete other assignments as required.
7+ years of hands-on SAP BRIM configuration experience in relevant modules (SOM, CI), with 3+ years being in SAP S/4HANA hosted in a commercial cloud.
At least 2 full-cycle SAP S/4HANA BRIM implementations in relevant modules.
Expertise in PCI DSS compliance, tokenization, and secure payment flow design.
Experience working with payment gateways for tokenization and payment processing integration.
Familiarity with mediation systems for usage capture and rating integrations.
