Senior Business Systems Analyst

Position Overview:
A seasoned Senior Business Systems Analyst is needed to support enterprise-level IT initiatives within a fast-paced, global manufacturing environment. This role bridges business and technology teams to enhance processes, optimize system functionality, and ensure successful implementation of IT solutions.
Duties:
Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to identify, document, and improve business processes and system workflows
Translate business needs into clear functional specifications and technical requirements
Lead mid-level projects from planning through deployment, including documentation, training, and organizational change support
Design and execute QA test plans, assist with user acceptance testing, and support issue resolution
Provide day-to-day support for both custom-developed and third-party applications
Ensure alignment with Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) controls and contribute to audit readiness
Conduct peer reviews and foster a culture of process improvement and shared knowledge
Act as a strategic advisor and subject matter expert to various business units
Maintain transparent communication with project stakeholders, ensuring timely updates on progress, risks, and dependencies
Consistently meet or exceed internal IT service level agreements (SLAs)
Required Skills:
13 years of IT experience in lieu of a degree, or a Bachelor’s degree in IT, MIS, or a related field
5 years of overall IT experience, including 3 years as a Business Systems Analyst
3 years of hands-on experience with ERP systems such as SAP, Infor, Baan, or e-Emphasys, including integration with third-party platforms
3 years of project management experience using Agile and Waterfall methodologies, leading initiatives with budgets exceeding $50,000
3 years of experience supporting QA testing and user acceptance testing in complex systems environments
3 years of proven communication and stakeholder engagement across multiple organizational levels
Preferred Skills:
Experience supporting SOX compliance and related audit documentation
Background in global manufacturing operations, ideally supporting enterprises with $800M+ in annual revenue
Familiarity with workforce analytics, dashboards, and data reporting tools
Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams in matrixed environments
Multilingual capabilities
Willingness to travel domestically and internationally (passport required)
Experience with change management, vendor coordination, and presenting to executive leadership
Strong business acumen, customer-focused mindset, and dedication to delivering value with integrity
