Position Overview:

This Technical Program Manager leads a technical support function focused on enabling enterprise adoption of Microsoft Power Platform tools, including Power Apps and Power Automate, while driving governance, training, and solution delivery. The role blends strategic program leadership with hands-on support, requiring strong communication skills, stakeholder collaboration, and the ability to manage competing priorities in a matrixed environment.

Duties:
  • Lead and manage the technical support team, including direct oversight and development of analysts supporting Power Platform tools.
  • Manage intake, prioritization, and resource allocation for program requests and initiatives.
  • Provide hands-on support by building or troubleshooting simple Canvas Apps and Power Automate flows as needed.
  • Oversee and facilitate the Community of Practice for Power Apps and Power Automate.
  • Develop and deliver training, workshops, and adoption initiatives to empower business users.
  • Communicate program status, risks, and recommendations through presentations to senior leadership.
  • Establish and maintain governance frameworks, best practices, and lifecycle management processes for low-complexity solutions.
  • Oversee technical delivery and review solution designs to ensure security, compliance, and alignment with organizational standards.
  • Develop and maintain clear documentation, user guides, and internal knowledge resources.
  • Coordinate with IT, security, and business stakeholders to align solutions with organizational goals and policies.
  • Identify program risks and issues and implement mitigation strategies to maintain delivery stability.
  • Support a matrixed team structure by mentoring and developing analysts across the broader division.
  • Expand support capabilities to include additional business enablement tools as technologies evolve.
Required Skills:
  • 7 years of experience in technical program management, product ownership, or enterprise application delivery.
  • 7 years of proven experience working with Microsoft Power Platform.
  • 7 years of demonstrated ability to lead and develop team members while managing both strategy and operations.
  • 7 years of experience with excellent communication and executive presentation skills.
  • 7 years of experience managing competing priorities and allocating work based on capacity, skills, and organizational needs.
