QA Analyst w SAP BRIM FI-CA
Position Type: Mostly Remote, Hybrid
Hybrid Schedule: Onsite 1st day for orientation & then onsite as needed
Contract Length: 5 months + extension
Position Overview:
This role is responsible for leading end-to-end quality assurance activities for complex enterprise systems, ensuring high-quality, compliant, and production-ready solutions across billing, financial, and integrated platforms. The position partners closely with business and technical teams to define test strategies, execute comprehensive testing, manage defects, and support successful deployments through go-live and post-implementation support.
Required Skills:
8+ years of Quality Assurance experience with deep expertise in enterprise application testing
2+ years of hands-on experience testing SAP BRIM, including billing, invoicing, payment processing, and FI-CA
2+ years of experience with Dynamics CE application testing
Proven experience in end-to-end, integration, regression, and data migration testing
Hands-on experience with API testing, backend validation, SQL queries, and ETL/interface testing
Experience testing internal CSR applications, web applications, ERP systems, and banking/financial platforms, including tolling-related systems
Experience using Azure DevOps for test and requirements management
Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365 and Azure DevOps Testing modules
Bachelor’s degree in business management, information systems, or a related field
- Relevant QA, SAP, or ITIL certifications
Duties:
Follow established SDLC and quality governance processes to ensure timely, cost-effective, and high-quality delivery
Participate in design reviews and translate functional and technical specifications into detailed test requirements
Develop and maintain test strategies, test plans, test cases, and scripts mapped to requirements in Azure DevOps
Lead and execute functional, integration, regression, end-to-end, and user acceptance testing
Perform testing across SAP BRIM components, including mediation, charging, invoicing, FI-CA, and subscription billing
Validate billing processes, pricing configurations, charges, payment flows, and revenue accounting
Execute data migration testing and financial reconciliation validation
Test APIs, interfaces, middleware, and system integrations, including CI/CD pipeline-related deployments
Support IVR, backend, hardware, and field device testing as part of end-to-end solution validation
Identify, assess, and document defect risks; provide release readiness recommendations
Track defects, perform root-cause analysis, and monitor quality metrics
Create and maintain dashboards, reports, and queries within Azure DevOps
Collaborate with QA leads, scrum teams, business owners, technical teams, and vendors
Review and improve user stories, test cases, and defect documentation for completeness and accuracy
Champion QA best practices, continuous improvement, and process optimization
Contribute to deployment readiness reviews, cutover activities, go-live, and hypercare support
Fully document all testing artifacts, designs, analyses, and lessons learned using required standards and templates
Lead and participate in project team activities related to enterprise system initiatives
Work independently while effectively contributing within cross-functional teams
Adhere to all organizational standards, policies, and procedures
Utilize enterprise tools and technologies to perform assigned responsibilities
Perform additional related duties as assigned to support project and organizational objectives
