Position Overview:

Perform requirements gathering by:
  • Conduct in-depth discussion with key stakeholders to understand current workflows, pain points, and specific requirements for the an Animal Health Management System. 
  • Conduct interviews with personnel, managers, and other relevant stakeholders to gather insights into their functional and technical requirements.
  • Organize workshops and surveys to collect feedback when needed.
Analyze requirements through:
  • Document all gathered requirements in a structured manner, ensuring clarity and completeness.
  • Work with the Department to prioritize requirements based on their importance and impact on operations.
  • Conduct a gap analysis to identify any existing functionalities that may not be met by the current systems.
Required Skills:
  • 7 + years of experience lead experience
  • 7 + years of experience leading a requirements gathering effort and analysis  
  • Previous experience leading an effort like the objectives of this initiative.
  • Excellent communication (oral *English* and written) and organization skills.
  • Ability to independently take on the lead role and work towards the final objective with minimal oversight.
  • Critical thinking skills.
  • Must have experience with disease tracking systems (human or animal).
Preferred Skills:
  • Exposure to similar type systems used for program management for animal disease control (could also be human disease control), emergency management, and animal (or human) traceability for disease monitoring.

Preferred Certifications:
Six Sigma, LEAN, CBAB, PMI-PBA, etc.
