Position Overview:
The QA Tester is responsible for planning, designing, and executing comprehensive testing activities across products, systems, and releases to ensure quality and reliability. This role collaborates closely with test, application, and program teams while supporting release control processes and continuously improving testing standards and practices.
Required Skills:
  • 4+ years of Agile-method software testing experience.

  • 3+ years of iOS mobile application testing experience.

  • Demonstrated exceptional verbal and written communication skills.

Preferred Skills:
  • 4-year college degree or equivalent technical study.
Duties:
  • Review and understand the Test Team work plan and support execution of testing activities

  • Assist in managing and directing Test Team processes and workflows

  • Plan, design, and execute product, system, unit, load, volume, and network tests

  • Identify, track, and resolve issues, risks, and action items impacting testing efforts

  • Develop contingency plans and proactively research issues before escalation

  • Assist, mentor, and guide testers to enhance technical and testing skills

  • Develop a strong understanding of system business requirements supported by testing

  • Support Application Teams in planning and executing component and assembly tests

  • Define product test plans, acceptance criteria, and entry/exit criteria

  • Develop, maintain, and enforce testing standards, procedures, and best practices

  • Plan, create, manage, and control test environments

  • Coordinate and execute assembly or product tests with cross-functional teams

  • Monitor and support estimated-time-to-complete (ETC) and actuals for assigned tasks

  • Create and maintain test models, plans, data, and scripts for product and release testing

  • Conduct structured walkthroughs, inspections, and resolve identified issues

  • Update, test, and validate release installation procedures

  • Provide accurate, timely status updates and meet assigned time estimates

  • Ensure testing activities comply with established quality standards

  • Collaborate effectively within a team environment and with business users

  • Communicate clearly and professionally, both written and verbal
