Business Analyst
Position Type: Hybrid
Hybrid Schedule: Onsite as needed
Contract Length: 9 months + possible extensions
Position Overview:
The Business Analyst serves as a liaison among stakeholders to analyze organizational policies, processes, and operations, ensuring alignment with business goals. This role involves gathering, documenting, and validating requirements while recommending effective solutions to support strategic initiatives.
Duties:
Conduct facilitated workshops to gather and analyze requirements.
Create workflows using formal notations such as BPMN.
Develop business, functional, user, and non-functional requirements.
Prepare project initiation documents, quality measures, and achievement goals.
Translate stakeholder needs into accurate requirements deliverables.
Develop report specifications including purpose, attributes, and runtime parameters.
Build and maintain a Requirements Traceability Matrix.
Create graphic representations of complex business processes.
Ensure requirements support performance, scalability, security, usability, and quality of service.
Organize and maintain clear, well-documented requirement artifacts.
Required Skills:
4 years of experience using formal requirements gathering methodologies
4 years of experience developing business, functional, and non-functional requirements
4 years of experience developing Requirements Traceability Matrix
4-year college degree (highly desired)
