Position Overview:

The ideal candidate will support the implementation and ongoing support of an Electronic Health Record (EHR) system, applying strong technical expertise within the framework of established application lifecycle and project management standards. While prior experience with corrections-specific EHRs is not expected, familiarity with a recognized EHR system and the ability to lead, train, and guide staff on technical processes is essential.

Duties:
  • Design, develop, configure, and implement Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems in compliance with established Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) guidelines.

  • Provide ongoing support and maintenance for the EHR system to ensure alignment with user requirements and organizational standards.

  • Ensure adherence to project management and quality assurance policies throughout the EHR implementation lifecycle.

  • Offer technical leadership and guidance to team members, including mentoring and process engineering support.

  • Estimate resource needs and timelines for technical components of EHR projects.

  • Deliver technical training and user support in healthcare-related environments.

  • Create, review, and assist with software design and technical documentation.

  • Evaluate, customize, and configure EHR systems and associated business workflows.

  • Document various workflow processes aligned with healthcare standards and implementation requirements.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze and refine technical and functional aspects of the EHR system.


Required Skills:
  • 5 years of experience designing, developing, configuring, implementing, and supporting Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems in compliance with Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) guidelines.

  • 5 years of experience assisting with software design documents and diagrams, with familiarity in Agile development methodologies.

  • 5 years of knowledge and hands-on experience with Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) methodology and the principles and techniques of technical system analysis, design, development, and configuration.

  • 5 years of experience documenting workflow processes based on healthcare standards, with the ability to customize, evaluate, configure, and analyze EHR systems and related business workflows.
