Associate Digital Systems Support Specialist
Position Type: Onsite
Contract Length: 6 months
Position Overview:
Provide technical and client support for plant-level IS systems, including hardware, networking, and computer-based solutions. Collaborate with the Plant Digital System Support Specialist and assist with corporate IT initiatives such as hardware refreshes and system maintenance.
Duties:Provide on-site support for IT infrastructure, including Windows desktop and laptop installation and maintenance
Support automation and controls software, including managing licenses on technician PCs
Assist with virtual machine (VM) support on user computers
Respond to end-user support requests related to PC software, hardware, printers, and plant-specific applications
Collaborate with the corporate IT Help Desk and the plant Digital System Support Specialist (DSS) to resolve technical issues
Troubleshoot client issues efficiently and effectively
Apply knowledge of Windows environments and networking in day-to-day support
Assist with PC hardware refresh processes and related tasks
Required Skills:
Associate's degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent experience
1–3 years of experience in IT/OT support
Proficient understanding of Windows operating systems (PC and server)
Understanding of virtual machine concepts
Understanding of network communications
Some knowledge of programming languages and database concepts
