Position Overview:
This role seeks an experienced SQL Developer with strong SSAS expertise to support data-driven initiatives, primarily focused on building and maintaining a research data repository and related BI solutions. The position requires hands-on development, collaboration with stakeholders, and the ability to translate business needs into scalable data models, cubes, and reporting solutions.

Duties:

Interface with stakeholders and apply technical expertise throughout the full SDLC
Deliver high-quality code and lead validation, testing, and implementation activities
Design, develop, document, test, implement, and support data models, cubes, and reports
Collaborate with business units to understand and analyze business processes
Translate business needs into analytics and reporting requirements
Track project progress and communicate status updates to project managers and team members
Coordinate and oversee production deployments and rollouts
Train and support end users on reporting tools, querying best practices, and cube usage
Identify and recommend improvements to BI development processes and methodologies
Research and resolve database-related issues, standards, and tools as needed

Required Skills:

5+ years of development experience using BI tools such as Microsoft SQL Server Analysis Services (SSAS) and Reporting Services (SSRS)
5+ years of experience with SQL and Microsoft SQL Server
5+ years of experience with Microsoft Power Platform
