Position Overview:
This Lead Business Analyst role is a strategic, people-focused position responsible for elevating Business Analysis practices, improving requirements quality, and strengthening alignment between business and technology teams. The role combines hands-on analytical leadership with mentorship, enabling teams to deliver consistent, high-quality outcomes while driving clarity and collaboration across stakeholders.

Required Skills:
  • 10+ years of expert-level experience in Business Analysis, including requirements gathering, stakeholder management, testing, and related functions
  • 7+ years of experience demonstrating strong leadership and mentoring skills, including leading and guiding experienced teams
  • 7+ years of experience effectively communicating complex ideas to both technical and non-technical audiences across multiple organizational levels
  • 7+ years of experience in stakeholder management, with the ability to build and maintain strong working relationships with key stakeholders
  • 7+ years of experience supporting and guiding experienced professionals, helping them achieve goals while removing obstacles to success
Duties:
  • Lead, mentor, and support a team of 8–10 Business Analysts, removing obstacles and fostering professional growth
  • Establish and promote standardized BA methodologies, templates, and documentation practices
  • Ensure the development of high-quality requirements, including BRDs, RTMs, user stories, acceptance criteria, process flows, and data requirements
  • Validate requirements for business value, technical feasibility, and alignment with organizational goals
  • Provide constructive feedback to improve deliverables and reduce rework across projects
  • Facilitate workshops, discovery sessions, and cross-functional discussions to drive alignment and decision-making
  • Act as a liaison between business units, IT teams, and vendors to ensure shared understanding of objectives
  • Collaborate with product owners, project managers, and leadership to prioritize work, manage risks, and maintain delivery momentum
  • Communicate complex concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences, including executive leadership
  • Translate business needs into structured, actionable documentation to support solution design and implementation
  • Support testing strategies, including functional, non-functional, and data-related validation
  • Drive continuous improvement of BA processes, tools, and team capabilities
  • Identify and address risks, provide direction, and ensure timely delivery of BA outputs
  • Promote a culture of accountability, transparency, and high-quality work across the BA function
