Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Web Content Writer to develop and refine content for an informational website. The ideal candidate is a skilled writer and editor who can create clear, accessible, and engaging content across various digital formats while aligning with project goals and brand voice.

Required Skills:

Proven experience writing for informational or public-facing websites.
Strong knowledge of web accessibility guidelines (e.g., WCAG) and inclusive writing practices.
Familiarity with SEO strategies and content optimization techniques.
Experience working in Figma and contributing to page designs.
Prior experience writing for government agencies (preferred).
Experience with Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) or similar content management systems (preferred).

Duties:

Write new content and revise existing copy to align with project objectives, style guidelines, and tone of voice.
Develop concise microcopy and instructional text to guide users through digital experiences.
Apply SEO best practices to improve search visibility and discoverability.
Ensure all content meets WCAG accessibility standards and incorporates inclusive language.
Collaborate with design teams in Figma, placing final copy into page layouts when needed.
Work closely with cross-functional stakeholders to review, refine, and finalize content.
