QA Analyst

Position Overview:
The Test/QA Lead is responsible for driving the overall quality assurance strategy, ensuring the delivery of reliable, high-quality software solutions across the development lifecycle. This role leads testing efforts, coordinates QA resources, and partners with cross-functional stakeholders to mitigate risk and ensure successful system readiness and release execution.
Duties:
Define and own the overall QA and testing strategy across projects and releases
Lead test planning, execution, and reporting across functional, integration, system, regression, and user acceptance testing (UAT)
Develop and maintain test plans, test cases, test scripts, and traceability matrices
Coordinate QA activities across internal teams and third-party vendors
Ensure alignment between business requirements, test coverage, and acceptance criteria
Manage defect tracking, prioritization, and resolution in collaboration with development teams
Establish and enforce QA standards, best practices, and governance processes
Oversee test environments, test data preparation, and release readiness assessments
Provide risk-based testing recommendations and go/no-go decisions for releases
Participate in release planning and support go-live activities
Manage multiple priorities and deadlines while maintaining a strong focus on quality
Communicate testing progress, risks, and outcomes clearly to stakeholders
Support extended testing efforts during critical release cycles as needed
Required Skills:
5+ years of experience in software testing and quality assurance
2+ years of experience serving in a QA Lead, Test Lead, or similar leadership role
3+ years of experience working with SDLC methodologies, including Agile and/or Waterfall
3+ years of hands-on experience with test management and defect tracking tools
2+ years of experience working with automated testing frameworks and tools
3+ years of experience leading user acceptance testing (UAT) and collaborating with business stakeholders
2+ years of experience working within healthcare environments
