In this role, you’ll be responsible for designing, configuring, and maintaining discovery processes across a complex, mixed infrastructure—ensuring accurate, full-stack visibility of devices, applications, and their interdependencies.

Duties:
  • Configure, administer, and maintain Application Discovery and Dependency Mapping (ADDM) tools, including platforms such as Device42
  • Design and manage device and application discovery jobs across a mixed infrastructure environment (physical, virtual, and cloud)
  • Ensure full-stack visibility by accurately mapping dependencies between infrastructure components and services
  • Maintain high data integrity by identifying and eliminating duplicate records and resolving discovery discrepancies
  • Optimize and tune discovery scans to improve performance and coverage
  • Support IT Asset Lifecycle Management practices through accurate tracking and reporting of assets
  • Utilize and troubleshoot network protocols such as SSH, SNMP, and WMI for effective discovery and monitoring
  • Analyze and map complex dependencies to support incident response, impact analysis, and root cause investigations
  • Configure and manage Identity and Access Management (IAM) roles within the ADDM toolset
  • Perform system upgrades, patching, and vulnerability remediation for ADDM platforms
  • Troubleshoot system issues, perform error handling, and ensure overall tool stability
  • Monitor and maintain ADDM licensing compliance
  • Develop, implement, and maintain monitoring and alerting for ADDM tools and related infrastructure
  • Create and distribute reports, dashboards, and visual dependency maps aligned with business needs
  • Validate and remediate data inconsistencies to ensure ongoing accuracy of discovery results

  • Design and implement custom discovery patterns where required
  • Apply monitoring and alerting best practices to enhance observability and system reliability
  • Interpret vulnerability scan results (e.g., Tenable/Nessus) and support remediation planning
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support enterprise logging, monitoring, and operational initiatives

Required Skills:
  • Ability to integrate with external tooling, e.g., ITSM tools, CMDB, and Report tooling.
  • Create custom discovery patterns.
  • Strong understanding of Monitoring and Alerting principles.
  • Experience interpreting vulnerability output from Tenable (Nessus) and developing remediation plans.
