Position Overview:
The IT Business Analyst will lead requirements analysis and project coordination for PDMP initiatives, serving as the liaison between technical teams and stakeholders throughout the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC). This senior-level role ensures effective communication, quality deliverables, and the successful implementation of system enhancements while promoting efficient business processes.

Position Overview:
The IT Business Analyst will lead requirements analysis and project coordination for PDMP initiatives, serving as the liaison between technical teams and stakeholders throughout the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC). This senior-level role ensures effective communication, quality deliverables, and the successful implementation of system enhancements while promoting efficient business processes.
Duties:
- Plan and facilitate requirements sessions and other project-related meetings with internal and external stakeholders.
- Capture, document, and analyze business, functional, user, and quality-of-service (QoS) requirements.
- Develop Business Requirements, Functional Requirements, User Requirements, and Requirements Traceability Matrices.
- Construct workflow charts, diagrams, and graphic representations of complex business processes.
- Evaluate existing systems, identify substandard processes, and recommend improvements based on real-time data analysis.
- Serve as a subject matter expert (SME) for PDMP system issues and provide guidance on system functionality and enhancements.
- Act as liaison between stakeholders, technical teams, and system vendors to ensure proper communication of issues and solutions.
- Assist in testing efforts, including developing user acceptance test scripts and reviewing test results.
- Develop training documentation and conduct training sessions as needed.
- Maintain project documentation and deliverables on SharePoint or other designated repositories.
- Utilize BABOK best practices and formal requirements gathering methodologies to ensure high-quality analysis.
- Analyze data and perform statistical evaluation to support informed decision-making.
- Drive project processes forward, escalate risks and issues, and ensure alignment with delivery, cost, quality, and customer satisfaction objectives.
- 7+ years of relevant experience working closely with stakeholders directly engaged in technical initiatives.
- A four-year college degree or equivalent.
- IT Analyst certification through the International Institute of Business Analysis (IIBA).
