Position Overview:

The Lead Business Analyst - BISD will lead a team of business analysts in analyzing and documenting requirements, while improving business processes across multiple projects. This role involves both mentorship and direct analytical work to ensure project success and alignment with organizational goals.

Duties:
  • Lead and support a team of business analysts, promoting consistency and knowledge-sharing.

  • Assign, prioritize, and manage team workloads to ensure high performance and timely project delivery.

  • Conduct peer reviews and provide coaching to help team members achieve project goals.

  • Oversee the collection and analysis of business requirements, ensuring accuracy and alignment with organizational needs.

  • Lead documentation of business processes, user stories, and acceptance criteria to support system enhancements.

  • Ensure consistent use of requirements management tools and best practices across the team.

  • Serve as the primary liaison between business stakeholders, IT, and development teams to maintain alignment and clarity.

  • Collaborate with project managers, product owners, and stakeholders to prioritize work, manage risks, and drive execution.

  • Facilitate workshops and meetings to gather business needs and communicate updates to senior leadership.

  • Track and monitor progress across multiple projects, ensuring timely and high-quality deliverables from the team.

  • Review user stories, process flows, and traceability documentation to confirm alignment with business objectives.

  • Lead testing and validation efforts to ensure solutions meet requirements before deployment.

  • Partner with IT, vendors, and consultants to translate business needs into technical solutions.

  • Drive cross-functional initiatives to align business goals with technology implementations.


Required Skills:
  • 5 years of leadership and mentoring experience, guiding and managing experienced teams.

  • 5 years of experience effectively communicating ideas to both technical and non-technical audiences at all organizational levels.

  • 5 years of stakeholder management experience, building and maintaining strong working relationships across the organization.

  • 5 years of providing support to professionals by helping them achieve goals and removing obstacles to success.

  • 10 years of expert-level experience in core business analysis functions, including requirements gathering, stakeholder engagement, and testing.
