Position Overview:
This role serves as a senior project management leader responsible for establishing governance standards, overseeing portfolio performance, and driving the successful delivery of multiple initiatives. The position combines hands-on project execution with strategic oversight, including executive reporting and mentorship of project managers to ensure alignment, accountability, and on-time delivery.

Duties:
  • Develop and implement project governance policies, standards, and best practices
  • Administer and oversee the project portfolio, ensuring alignment with organizational priorities
  • Lead requirements gathering efforts for multiple backlogged and upcoming projects
  • Manage and deliver multiple projects simultaneously, particularly within IT-focused environments
  • Monitor project performance, timelines, risks, and dependencies to ensure successful outcomes
  • Provide guidance, mentorship, and support to a team of project managers
  • Serve as a senior escalation point to help resolve project issues and challenges
  • Prepare and deliver status reports, updates, and presentations to CIO and executive leadership
  • Ensure consistent application of project management methodologies and governance frameworks
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to maintain transparency, alignment, and effective communication across initiatives
Required Skills:
  • 5+ years of experience demonstrating a solid understanding of IT project management, particularly supporting IT-related projects
