Business Systems Analyst

The Master Business Systems Analyst will lead efforts to analyze, document, and improve business processes and systems by translating user needs into functional technology solutions. This role involves deep collaboration with technical teams and stakeholders to deliver effective system enhancements and ensure alignment between business goals and IT capabilities.
Required Skills:
16 years of Business Analyst experience.
16 years of experience with the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC), including Waterfall, Hybrid, and Agile methodologies.
5 years of hands-on experience developing and documenting operational processes, functions, and procedures.
5 years of experience leading end-to-end implementation of new requirements, process changes, and improvements requested by stakeholders or business units.
5 years of experience providing go-live support, continuous improvement, business support, and proactive engagement with planning functions to facilitate business requirements.
5 years of hands-on experience in application configuration, governance, and strategy, including implementing business change requests.
5 years of experience developing business solutions for call/contact centers.
5 years of experience using the Atlassian Jira and Confluence toolset.
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Engineering, IT, or a related field (or equivalent experience of 15+ years) OR a current PMP certification with 10+ years of experience.
Define and document system scope, objectives, and business requirements based on thorough research and user input.
Lead analysis and optimization of business processes, workflows, and operational functions.
Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to plan, design, and implement system solutions.
Translate business needs into functional and technical specifications.
Support development teams by transferring business knowledge and reviewing design specifications.
Conduct gap analysis, develop business cases, and recommend solutions for business problems.
Lead UAT planning and execution; assist in training and documentation efforts.
Provide ongoing application and user support, including data cleanup and reconciliation.
Write functional design documents, solution white papers, and stakeholder communications.
Monitor evolving business patterns and proactively recommend process improvements.
Use Jira/Confluence for tracking requirements, changes, and project documentation.
Support implementation of call/contact center solutions and business change requests.
